From Naiot Venture Accelerator to Acquisition by Boston Scientific, Remon Medical Technologies Stays Ahead of the Curve
 |
Remon Medical Technologies is an innovator in designing, developing, and commercializing miniaturized implant devices that enable wireless communication, monitoring and activation deep within the body. Remon has a platform technology applicable in many areas. Its primary focus is on the cardiology and vascular surgery markets. |
The Remon ImPressureTM, Remon's flagship product, is an advanced miniature implant that enables physicians to assess and treat Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) patients in a non-invasive manner. Remon's unique technology utilizes wireless communications to activate its tiny devices acoustically. When placed deep inside the body, the implants monitor a variety of physiological parameters, stimulate tissues and organs, or activate other devices, creating therapeutic responses. The system completes the therapy feedback process by identifying high-risk patients for therapy adjustment to prevent hospitalization, and thereby, cut reduce costs .
