Naiot is a Venture Accelerator that helps entrepreneurs to translate innovative ideas into commercially-viable businesses. We provide incubation programs to nurture and grow new businesses, offering expertise, guidance and support throughout all phases.

Committed to entrepreneurial spirit, we serve as a highway between very early stage projects and venture capitals. We build relationships based on mutual trust and respect, and are willing to take higher development risk to enable the true opportunity that innovation deserves.

Naiot makes 4-6 investments annually of up to $1M.
Our business is nurturing IT and life science ventures by identifying, investing and developing evolutionary and revolutionary world-class technologies.

Naiot, positioned as a preferred partner among entrepreneurs, provides its
portfolio companies support which spans the entire start-up development process, including support in product definition & development, developing a robust IP Strategy, defining a regulation path and above all – leading the process of securing series A financing.

Since our establishment in 1997, we have launched over 50 companies, which have raised over $200 million in funding.

1. Team – we look to partner with people who are fun to work with and the best in their class, who have deep domain expertise and dare to dream big, who are keen on building strong teams with background diversity.

2. Sustainable competitive advantage – we are looking for technologies that can maintain a competitive advantage for the company we are starting together… Whether it comes from intellectual property protection, from deep domain expertise or merely from the fact that we are “first to market” – there must be something.

3. Significant market need – Your invention should address a need in the market with no good solution.

4. Large market- the problem that you are trying to solve should have a sizable market.


How could you be better prepared?

1. Learn About Your Target Audience - Read this website, Google us, ask entrepreneurs who have been in Naiot before. Learn about the incubator project in general.

2. KISS - Keep it Short and Simple – we will appreciate a short, focused first presentation (up to an hour long), after which we will probably have questions that we can discuss together.

3. Come prepared - Invite to the meeting people who can answer our questions on all facets of your venture, mainly regarding the clinical and business aspects (in medical ventures), regarding domain issues (value chain, decision makers) and business (software ventures).

4. References – Prepare a contact list of people who can provide
references for the technology you plan to use or the needs your invention addresses.
A technology guru or a potential customer could make a difference.
